Grade II Full Renovation & Extension in Epping

This rear extension and full renovation on a grade 2 listed house in Epping was definitely a challenge but also very rewarding. The difference is nearly unrecognisable.

 

We started by removing the concrete floors as they weren’t allowing this building to breathe causing damp issues. We then put back a glasscrete insulated floor with underfloor heating and a limecrete screed. All internal walls re-plastered with lime plaster, lots of them needed extensive repairs.

 

Externally a a single story extension was added to the rear with two roof lights, new bathroom, new kitchen/utility, fully re-wired, all heating pipes replaced with new radiators upstairs. Loft insulated with lambs wall. Floors downstairs tilled with limestone.

Outside completely dug out, new retaining wall added and new patio laid. New drainage added to the whole of the property.

 

The full renovation was carried out by our in-house team in 7 months.
